The minimum credit requirement for graduation with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design is the successful completion of 137 credits of prescribed and pre-approved courses within the program curriculum* below, as well as the maintenance of a 2.0 average GPA. Students must also maintain an average studio GPA of 2.0 to advance to the next course in the studio sequence each successive year.

* Industrial Design students who matriculated at NJIT before Fall 2008 may be following a different course of study and should contact their advisor to ensure completion of all course requirements for their degree.

**Depending on interest and availability, students may elect to take the 2^nd year social science GUR requirements out of sequence: SS 201 (or approved equivalent) may be taken in the Fall semester and Principles of Psychology I (Rutgers) postponed until the Spring semester.
